This course is designed to give participants (particularly for the Secretaries), an understanding and a better picture as to how the AFE, WP&B, POD which is prepared and compiled in the Oil and Gas Industry. Participants will be walked through the step of AFE description, and at the same time will be explained slightly on the activities in G&G, drilling, oil & gas reserves, onshore and offshore,and production facilities, etc.
Further, the course will discuss slightly on the Financial and Economics of POD, in relation with cost incurred in the AFE, WP&B, as a control system that has been set up and published by SKKMIGAS to manage all activities done by the PSC in relation with cost recoverable, and the yearly Contractor and Government Share respectively.

OBJECTIVES TRAINING AFE WP&B and POD For Secretary
This course aims at enabling participants to understand the process of preparing the AFE, WP & B, and POD respectively, have a better understanding about these four control system and how they affect the PSC performance in Indonesia, and in general, know more about the PSC activities in Indonesia.
After completion of this workshop, the participant is expected to:
 Understand the entire process and knowledge of AFE preparation,Work Program and Budget, POD proposal
 Be able to apply the introduced and taught concepts and practices that best fits their company’s PSC secretariallevel as from Senior Vice President’s , Vice President’s , Sr. Manager’s and all Manager’s secretaries in the Company, as well as the General Administration Assistant in the Company.
 Be able to assist all their Managers much better based on their additionaltechnical and financial tools, and overall added understandingabout Oil and Gas industry.
 Gain more confidence to successfully navigate intricacies from technical to economical knowledge of oil and gas PSC, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of their companies effort.

COURSE CONTENT TRAINING AFE WP&B and POD For Secretary
1. General Knowledge
What is AFE (Authorization Financial Expenditures)?, What kind of AFE in related to Petroleum Industry?, Consistsof G & G studies, Seismic Survey, Drilling and Production Facilities, onshore and offshore. What is WP & B (Work Program and Budget)?, What is POD (Plan of Development)?
2. Slight knowledge of PSC Budgeting
Financial Budget included AFE for G & G, Seismic / Survey, Tangible and Intangible cost in Exploratory Drilling andDevelopment Drilling. Capital and Non Capital cost in Exploration, Development,Production and General Administration. Operating Cost, Depreciation and Cost recovery. Fiscal terms in Indonesia PSC. Abandonment and Site restoration. Insurance, Administrative Overhead, technical Services. Interest Recovery.

3. Slight knowledge of POD
Lifting, Barrel, Mmcf, MMBtu and Price Forecast. Gross PSC Revenue, FTP and Investment Credit. Current year Cost and Unrecovered Operating Cost. Oil and Gas cost. Budgeted and Year end entitlement. Equity share. Domestic Market Obligation. Financial Budget. Monthly provisional Entitlement. Midyear review Budget, Revised Budget and Current Outlook. Government Tax Entitlement.
